Small Business Fibre

Small Business Fibre is a fibre access service delivered over GPON technology. Powered by our congestion-free network, Small Business Fibre offers 500/500 Mbps and 920/500Mbps speed options.  

With this solution, you can also deliver up to two* separate voice lines or three additional Bitstream services using the separate ports on our ONT. 

*Second voice port may require an ONT change for connection at site of existing connection. 

Small Business Fibre is available in areas where we’ve rolled out fibre in the street.

You can order Small Business Fibre without any pre-requisites other than handover connectivity. For this you’ll need:

• A handover connection at the local point of interconnect (POI), or backhaul to a handover connection at a remote point of interconnect (POI)
• Handover fibre connecting the handover connection to your equipment in the co-located space in the POI or at a remote site.

Small Business Fibre can be ordered by selecting Small Business Fibre 500 or Small Business Fibre 920 in the Chorus Portal. Note that the Small Business Fibre 500 plan is configured to deliver 500-500-2.5-2.5 bandwidth thanks to the Big Fibre Boost initiative.  The name of the template will be updated in future to accurately reflect the speed it delivers.
