Exchange Space

Your equipment (copper or fibre) can be located in any of our exchanges.

We will commence the build once you have placed your order. The build will comply with Chorus technical standards and is subject to Chorus quality assurance processes.

You may request site audits to assess capacity and space constraints within an exchange prior to placing an order. These are useful for planning and design purposes, however if you order colocation, then this information is provided at the design and quote phase.

Type of audits:

• Initial site audit: this audit is a high-level feasibility check based on record
• Full site audit: for this audit, we will provide scale floor plans, capacities of support infrastructure, details on cable routes and distances, manhole details, estimated lead-times or other specific details, as requested. We will also ask you to inspect the premises.

You can order new footprint(s), third-party fibre or enhancements to existing footprint(s) via the colocation order requirements documents and submit these via the Chorus ordering tool.

A feasibility study and quote will take 10-20 working days.

The Colocation team will then email you the quote to accept or reject. If you accept it, your order will proceed.
