RGW withdrawal reminder

As you know, RGW ONT is nearing the end of its lifecycle. This product went into stop-sell in November last year and will be fully withdrawn on 31 October 2024. This is just over 30 days away.

API, Portal & B2B testing

API testing environments have already been updated for the Assurance and Line Test APIs (ONT mode removed). API supporting documentation for these will be updated on 1 October 2024. B2B WebServices and Portal changes (removing ONT mode from prefeasibility) are now live in EMMA.

Fibre Connect APIs were designed and built without any of these RGW ONT mode fields and are not impacted by this change.

Chorus Activate Anywhere changes on 1 November 2024

  • RMS Config will be removed from Activate Anywhere.
  • Changes to Assurance Website Activate form: Removing Read Only and Read & Write access and consolidating these into one level of Assurance Website access.

Our customer engagement team have been working with you on your impact lists and migration plans to make sure that you move these customers on to standard ONT mode and have an RGW plugged in, before the end of October.

The Hyperfibre RGW Withdrawal CPE Offer will also come to an end on 31 October 2024.

If there are any customers still in RGW mode on 31 October 2024 we will place orders to migrate them to Standard mode. This means that if your customer doesn’t have an RGW plugged in they will not be able to connect. Please work with us to avoid this poor customer experience by migrating your customers as soon as possible.
