Official B2B withdrawal notice
Fibre APIs update
We would like to announce that as of today all six Fibre Connect APIs are now considered stable and no longer in beta. These APIs now represent the latest offering of our B2B ordering technology. It’s been a long and interesting journey with co-design sessions and direct engagement between your teams and ours, resulting in earlier and more comprehensive documentation, testing and beta releases for each API.
As we have now moved out of the development phase, any changes will now follow the API versioning policy and support will be provided by API support and our BAU operational support model.
Documentation is already available. Access and documentation can be accessed through the API Explorer.
We are excited to be able to say that one provider is already using all six of the new Fibre Connect APIs in production and is currently preparing to fully migrate their ordering to the new APIs. Thank you to everyone involved in the design and those who are working hard to adopt them.
B2B WebServices decommissioning notice
With fibre ordering capability now replicated in the new APIs, it’s time to bid farewell to the B2B WebServices.
This serves as the official notice that we will be decommissioning B2B WebServices, on 25 September 2025. The new Fibre APIs are now available for placing B2B orders.
If you become aware at any point over this 12-month period, that you are unable to migrate by this date, please notify your customer engagement team. We are working through post notification period options, noting that any delay past the decommissioning timeline will have a cost attached for you.
The Chorus Portal (web interface) will continue to be available as per normal.
