Peering Provider Service

Technical specifications

How it works

Peering Provider Service simply lets you add a Chorus EdgeCentre to your IX exchange where you will be able to reach all Chorus customers on the Chorus network.

Technical features

  • The Peering Provider Service provides an inter-network connectivity with UFB Handovers and EdgePort.
  • Supports multiple physical E-NNI links using Link Aggregation Grouping (LAG) in 1+1 active standby or 2+2 active standby at additional cost.
  • E-NNI link locations will be mutually agreed.
  • The active/standby status of links is controlled with Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) between the Peering Providers equipment and Chorus’ equipment.

Our Peering Provider Service is only available from the Mt Eden EdgeCentre from 30 November 2020. Watch this space for more sites.
