High Priority Access (HPA) has launched today. HPA gives you enterprise-grade performance for a competitive price and is now available to order through the Chorus Portal.

We would like to thank those of you that provided feedback during the consultation process and throughout the development of HPA. The final shape of HPA has evolved to what it is today based on your input, and we hope that you are as excited about this new product as we are. 

How did we get here? 

• In November 2022 we consulted on a new product idea that would deliver performance comparable to that of Point-to-Point products such as Business Premium or HSNS but for a better price. 
• In March 2023 we communicated the outcome of our consultation, outlined the changes we made based on your feedback and provided an indicative delivery timeline. 
• In April 2023 we provided notice that HPA is launching on 31 July 2023 and published the HPA Service Description. 
• In June 2023 we provided an update on the development of HPA and adjusted the launch date to the 3 August 2023 to allow one of our platform teams to complete their required work. 
• 3 August 2023 – HPA launches. 

Ordering High Priority Access

HPA is now available to order through the Chorus Portal and Portal B2B. If you have opted to pre-onboard HPA then you will see High Priority Access 1000 in the list of plans available to you: 

• High Priority Access 1000 (for the Single Port ONT) 
• High Priority Access 1000 SFP (for the SFP ONT) 

If you have not yet onboarded HPA then please get in touch with your Chorus account team, and they will take care of the rest. 

Next steps

As you know, High Priority Access 1000 is just the beginning as we are working to have HPA 2000 and 4000 launched in 2024.  

We will provide you with a more accurate timeline as delivery dates become clearer.
