The Boost changes are complete
The Boost network migrations were successfully completed last Tuesday.
System changes went through on Sunday night and the new names of the boosted plans are now reflected across all Chorus systems. This includes Chorus Portal, B2B, APIs and websites; which all show the updated names of these impacted plans, reflecting their new speeds.
Previous plan | New boosted plan |
---|---|
Home Fibre Starter 50 (50/10 Mbps) | Home Fibre Starter 100 (100/20 Mbps) |
Home Fibre 50 (50/10 Mbps) | Home Fibre 100 (100/20 Mbps) |
Home Fibre 300 (300/100 Mbps) | Home Fibre 500 (500/100 Mbps) |
Smart Locations SFP 50-50-0-0 | SFP Smart Locations 100-100-0-0 |
Billing details
To ensure a smooth transition for our Channel Partners:
- ASIDs will be invoiced as usual, but for the migration month, each ASID will appear twice on the invoice.
- There will be two partial-month charges:
- One under the old offer name
- One under the new offer name
- The total of the two charges will equal one full month, with no change to the overall billing amount.
This approach ensures transparency and accuracy in our billing process.
Website changes
We have updated our website to reflect these changes, however there may be contracts and other documents where we have not updated the names or specifications of these plans. For the avoidance of doubt, from 16 June 2025:
- All prior references to Home Fibre 50 and Home Fibre 300 should be read as referring to Home Fibre 100 and Home Fibre 500, respectively.
- Any reference to Home Fibre Starter 50 should be read as referring to Home Fibre Starter 100.
There may be contexts in which we refer to Home Fibre 50, Home Fibre Starter 50 and/or Home Fibre 300 in previous materials where the above deeming provision is not intended to apply (for instance, references to the performance characteristics of a Home Fibre 50 plan prior to June 2025).
