We monitor our offers to ensure they’re achieving their purpose of driving an incremental uplift in Fibre connections. After undertaking a review of our current incentive effectiveness, we are making changes to the following two consumer offers. 

Bigger fibre connection credit for Mix-it-Up (MiU) new connects

From 1 October until 31 December each new fibre connection coming from copper or non-Chorus network to Chorus’ 100M (or greater) speed plans will be paid $100 (was $60). Remember, connections to speed plans above 100M still receive an additional credit.

Intact ONT incentive ends on 31 October

In parallel to the MiU credit increase, we’re removing the Intact ONT Incentive effective 1 November in favour of increasing the MiU credit (above). We’ve seen little to no uplift when we compare a sample group provided via our list with our control group, which suggests this isn’t having the desired effect. Remember, RSPs can still get paid for connecting intacts on 100M+ plans under the Mix-it-Up offer.
