Crown Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and Chorus have agreed an updated price cap for the Fibre 100/20 plan effective from July 2019. The price cap has reduced from $49.65 to $46. With this certainty of price caps we’d like your feedback on where we price the Fibre 30 and 100/20 plans from 1 July 2019 as part of our wider consultation on our fibre portfolio for 2019 – commenced with the premium speed plan consultation in September.

To enable you to plan for your business and ensure kiwis have the best fibre plans available for the future, we’d like to hear your views on the proposed pricing of the abovementioned core fibre products in combination with the “premium speed plan” consultation we began on the 11 September.   

Next steps

We’ll consult and get initial feedback from now until Wednesday 21 November.

We’ll carry out this consultation through bilateral discussions which will be coordinated through your account lead. Once consultation has been completed and we have considered all feedback , we will provide you formal notice of the 2019 price points for the fibre portfolio.
