Consumer premium speed plan fibre pricing – tell us what you think

Consumer needs are evolving and we continue to see changes in the mix of fibre plans they choose. This is particularly true with “premium speed plans” (Fibre Max and Fibre 200Mbps) which are positioned in different ways by service providers in the retail market.

To meet your portfolio needs and ensure kiwis have access to the best fibre plans available we are seeking your feedback on how you see these plans fitting into your portfolio and their relative price positioning.

Engaging with you

We understand fibre pricing is vital to you, so we are consulting on the proposed pricing of our premium speed plans (Fibre 200Mbps and Fibre Max).

We are looking for your feedback on:

  • Your preferred plan line-ups to best balance customer needs versus complexity of the product range
  • Your portfolio strategies for the 200Mbps, Gigabit plans and related pricing options.

Also, in the coming months, we’ll look to consult with you on bringing innovative new products to market.

Any feedback you provide us will be treated as confidential. We’ll consider all feedback we receive, then make a decision as to whether changes are required as a result of this feedback and/or other factors.

Next steps

We’ll consult and get feedback from now until 26 September 2018. We will carry out this consultation through bilateral discussions which will be coordinated through your account manager.
