We last communicated to you at the end of October last year about our programme to extend fibre coverage to nearly 10,000 additional addresses across Aotearoa. We’ve continued to make great progress since then and now have 20 build areas live with services available at nearly 1,800 addresses.  

We’ve completed proactive ONT installs to nearly 1,000 of these with over 600 customers now enjoying fibre services. From here, the programme really begins to ramp up as we look to deliver fibre to a further 2,200 addresses across 13 build areas that are due to go live by end of May.

The final stretch of the programme will see an even greater level of activity as we deliver fibre to another ~5,200 addresses across another 26 areas, by mid-2025. We expect to provide another update on these remaining areas in a few months’ time.
