Chorus fibre portal update

As part of the planned October release, we communicated part of this change would be looking to move to the Single Sign on authentication method for accessing Chorus websites and tools.

This means that we will be moving off the Identity and Access platform onto Microsoft Azure which changes how you log into the Chorus fibre Portal. This will be followed by the service provider website on 10 November.

What’s happening

At the beginning of June, we informed you of the change to how users will log into Chorus fibre Portal.

Between July & September 2019 users of the new Assurance website began using our new Identity and Access tool; the users of the Chorus Portal will now be migrated as part of this release.

This means that users will log into the Chorus Portal via Microsoft Azure, and usernames will change. Passwords will stay the same.

We will also be updating Chorus Activate which will give your Administration Users the ability to Add/Delete or Modify Users.

Next steps and contacts

From 10 October users will be presented with a new login screen when accessing the Chorus fibre Portal.

Please ensure you have communicated this change to your operational teams who user the Chorus fibre Portal

Please refer to the documents below for more detailed information that have now been loaded onto the service provider website

Please contact your Service Delivery Manager if you have any further questions. Support will be provided by the Chorus Implementation Team when required to help support this process. Further information on the SP website change will be communicated closer to the time.
