HSNS Premium

HSNS Premium includes a number of individual components that collectively provide business grade access connectivity between you and customers. This is connectivity that you can combine with your own network, services and content to meet the high-performance demands of corporate customers, schools and medical centres.

Dedicated point-to-point access to our congestion-free UFB network means bandwidth is always there when you want it. This technology also provides an access Ethernet private line (Access-EPL) that allows up to 4093 VLANs to be passed transparently from the customer’s premises to your network. These VLANS allow both simple and complex WANs to be configured and managed efficiently, by addressing issues such as scalability, security and network management.

HSNS Premium is available in the 24 Chorus UFB areas where shared or point-to-point fibre is available, as well as other designated areas.

You can order HSNS Premium without any pre-requisites other than the handover connectivity.

For this you will need:

• An Ethernet handover connection off the local point of interconnect (POI), or tail extension to a handover connection at a remote POI.
• Fibre connecting the handover connection to your equipment in the co-located space in the POI or at a remote site.

Since August 2018, retail service providers are able to amortise build costs higher than $10,000 for HSNS Premium and vDFAS in non UFB areas. This service is targeted at corporate or enterprise customers that want a point-to-point fibre service for greater security, bandwidth or diversity.

Commercial terms:

• Minimum contract period and early termination charges apply.
• Where a customer amortises, the premium (or interest rate) will be 6.8% per annum.
