Service Levels

Service levels

  • Service hours:
    • Assure: 7am-7pm x 7 days a week 24/7 to log incidents or remote fixes
    • Fulfil: processing 8am-5pm Monday to Friday.
  • Provisioning:
    • Colocation space allocation
      • New Interconnection Point: 20 business days
      • Existing Interconnection Point: 20 business days.
    • Additional tie cables
      • 20 business days.
    • MOFDF service orders
      • 4 business days.

Service classification

Each exchange site is classified based on the level of service available at that site. These are:

Platinum – fault tolerant site infrastructure:

  • Full duplication of all major plant, i.e. power and cooling
  • Can be available concurrently for power options and air conditioning.

Gold – concurrently maintainable site infrastructure:

  • Two generators
  • Dual feeds for power
  • Dual feeds for air conditioning.

Silver – redundant capacity component site infrastructure:

  • Two generators
  • Dual feeds for power
  • Single feed for air conditioning.

Bronze – basic site infrastructure:

  • Backup generator
  • Battery backup for three hours
  • Air conditioning during outage.

Steel – dependent on external power:

  • Dependent on external power as no backup generator
  • Battery backup for eight hours
  • No air conditioning during outage.
