We are planning maintenance work in Dunedin

We will be carrying out some maintenance work in the Broad Bay and Portobello areas to improve the connection to the fibre network. When the work is complete, the improvements will allow us to connect end-customers to fibre quicker.

This planned maintenance will take place from 6 August over the next 4 to 8 weeks

What does it mean?

This means that some current and new fibre orders may be delayed by a few weeks, but we’ll prioritise connections as work is completed in each street:

  • The fibre installation of new end-customers may be delayed. We’ll be in touch to schedule their installation as soon as our work in their street is complete.
  • Existing end-customers may experience a brief outage. We won’t require access to their property to complete this work, and will leave a calling card in their mailbox once we’ve finished.

All end-customers impacted by this planned maintenance work will be informed this week by a letter in the post.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. It’s important that we carry out this work to ensure that Dunedin residents in these areas have the best broadband experience available.
