User Authentication for Service Performance Manager (SPM) - migration from 1 November 2022

In August 2021, we informed you that changes we were planning to make to the Service Performance Manager (SPM) tool were delayed (see previous updates below). We now have a new migration date. Our planned migration of users will start from 1 November 2022 across to SPM via the new user website.

What’s changing?

As part of Chorus’s amalgamation of user identity management, we are looking to move user access from the current Chorus Gateway for the Service Performance Management (SPM) tool to a new URL, username and password managed through Chorus Active Directory and withdrawing the current access.

Many of the testing functions that were provided by SPM were deployed on the Assurance Website for RSP’s, leaving a small amount of functionality such as Mailbox Management and functions such as Call Diverts remaining on SPM.

This change will require users who still need SPM access to go to a new URL and have a new username and password for each RSPs circuits, as it works today with SPM.

Phased migration approach

We will take a phased migration approach with SPM users. If you are interested in being part of the first group to be migrated, please reach out to your account team.  Conversely, if you do not want to be in this group, we are keen to be aware of that too. We will endeavour to meet any requests we receive.

Access to SPM via the current Chorus gateway login from Monday 4 December 2022 will no longer be possible.

Please ensure you have communicated this change to your operational teams that use the SPM tool.
