Last year, we gave you notice that we were grandfathering Hyperfibre Business profiles with less than 100Mbps High Traffic Class (HTC) and all Hyperfibre Educational product offers on 1 September 2022. 

With September right around the corner, it is a good time to consider migrating these customers to new plans. It is very likely that we have better plans available for these customers. While the upgrade offer has expired, right-planning these customers will mean that they are on a faster plan for a lower price. 

Hyperfibre Education - Grandfathering 

On 1 September 2022, the Hyperfibre Education plans will go to the next stage in the Grandfathering process. This means that there is a stop sell on this product. New connections will no longer be available; however existing circuits can still be changed. 

Hyperfibre Business with less than 100Mbps HTC - Grandfathering 

From 1 September 2022, 10, 20 or 50 Mbps HTC profiles will be unavailable on all Hyperfibre Business product offers. Any customers on these plans would benefit from migration on to the 100Mbps HTC Hyperfibre variant (which is cheaper) or another plan. 

Next Steps 

If you have any customers on these Hyperfibre profiles then it would be best to migrate them on to better plans. Instead of ordering these plans, we recommend ordering the Hyperfibre Business plan with 100Mbps HTC instead.
