Updated Service Level Terms and Operations Manuals on website

In June 2018, we  advised you that after a period of negotiation with customers and Crown Infrastructure Partners (CIP), we were pleased to provide you with a new Service Level framework for fibre services.


The new Service Level framework and associated documents had been approved by the industry via the Product Forum earlier that year and draft versions of the documents were posted on the Chorus website.

Once minor UFB2 changes were added, the industry approved the final versions of the documents at the product forum earlier this year. It has taken longer than expected to complete the approval process of the final versions with CIP and within Chorus. This process is now complete, and the final approved versions of the documents have been posted on the Chorus  and service provider websites.


Note - We have been reporting and making rebate payments based on this new framework since April 2018. The methodology we use to calculate rebates can be found on the Chorus website. The reports and the methodology document will be refined over time to ensure the reports and calculations are easily understood.
