In February 2017 we announced that we would be migrating DFAS, BFAS and ICABS ordering from SSP to the Chorus Portal in December 2017. While, given competing priorities, we were unable to meet these initial timelines, we can now announce our plans to commence a trial for the ordering of these products via the portal at the start of July 2018.
SSP ordering will be decommissioned at a date to be confirmed and Layer 1 fibre products will instead be ordered via the Chorus Portal. We are making this change to improve customer experience and reduce the number of systems used to support fibre products. One key system for all fibre products will deliver greater efficiencies for you.
The planned migration will be over several months.
The process to log fault tickets for DFAS, BFAS and ICABS will continue in SSP.
Our planned trial of Layer 1 fibre services ordering in the portal begins in July 2018. Following the trial, and subject to any subsequent changes we need to make based on trial feedback, we will progress with a planned migration and on boarding for all customers during October, November and December 2018. We gave formal notice that we’ll be shutting down our legacy fibre ordering systems in December 2014.
