Promoting new fibre connections - Data share opportunity for Prezzy Card incentive
We are seeking to explore ways to work with you to facilitate new fibre connections. This opportunity offers RSPs a chance to promote our $400 Prezzy Card Offer to eligible consumers, to encourage them to connect to fibre broadband.
Our $400 Prezzy Card Offer can be promoted in conjunction with any applicable RSP offers that may be available, for an appealing proposition to eligible consumers to connect to fibre. Please note that data sharing terms will apply to enable the provision of an eligible address list by Chorus, and that we may update this list or the eligibility criteria. We can also provide you supporting marketing material to assist with your promotion of this offer, if required.
Our latest $400 Prezzy Card Offer is expected to be in market in May 2025, and will focus on intact addresses. The opportunity to promote this offer will initially be available from this date for a period of 5 weeks, noting that we are conducting this as a trial. New addresses may be added (or in rare cases removed) from the list, in which case participating RSPs will be informed.
For end consumers who decide to register for the Prezzy Card, T&Cs will apply. These will be available on our website and should be flagged in any consumer marketing.
Consumer incentive details – Prezzy Card:
- Consumers at eligible addresses will need to register for the offer on the Chorus webpage.
- Connect to a fibre broadband plan within 60 days from registration
- After the fibre connection has been active for a minimum of 30 days we will validate the details and issue a $400 virtual Prezzy Card directly to the customer.
This offer will also be promoted using other channels to eligible addresses to facilitate new fibre connections, including the Chorus Broadband Checker, Chorus Speed Test and Broadband Compare. Whether or not an RSP has opted-in to this opportunity will not affect end customer eligibility.
