We've improved how we estimate the speed your customers get when upgrading to VDSL. We'll now include such data in this report from 19 April 2017 onwards.

This estimate is via our new, best-practice tools. It examines working broadband connections and then uses both network data and algorithms to estimate potential VDSL speeds.

Over time, the estimation tool will also feed our broadband checker, ADSL footprint report, OO&T and B2B prequalifications.

We’re also adding current DSL downstream sync speeds for addresses with one service connection. Referring to both the VDSL estimated speed and the current DSL downstream sync speed, you’ll be able to talk to your customers about the benefits of upgrading.
