Consumer Regional Marketing Plans Oct 21 – June 22

Overview

The “Fibre. It’s how we internet now.” campaign has been live on a national level since 2020. This national, awareness advertising will continue for the coming months across TV, search  and digital channels.

As an additional layer, we will execute regional marketing campaigns across North Island and South Island regions, allowing us to be more targeted in areas which have not been focussed on previously.

Our regional campaigns will run for an 8-week period in each region and will consist of radio, print, outdoor, digital & social channels, and direct mail. These campaigns will be an extension of the “Fibre. It’s how we internet now.” platform.

Print, radio and outdoor (billboards, dairy posters, street posters) will continue the fibre awareness momentum across the regions and the digital/social and direct mail channels allow us to be more targeted to those customers who do not have a fibre ONT installed.

A detailed media plan for each region will be shared as soon as these are confirmed.

What regions are we in and when?

See the calendar below outlining the locations and timings of the regions we will be in and when, over the coming months. The regions are selected based on areas we have not targeted previously (bar the larger cities) and are based on addresses we know do not have an ONT installed (which we can send DMs to).

Given the size and opportunity of the larger Auckland and Wellington regions, we have broken out these regions into sub-regions.

*Please note: Our planned schedule may be changed to accommodate lockdown/ alert level restrictions which affect our business (e.g. ONT installations).

Installation activity can continue on a BAU basis in Level 3 under appropriate Covid protocols, including confirmation with the customer that the customer is comfortable with a technician visiting their premises, and that the customer agrees to wear a mask and isolate in another room while the technician is in the premises. This pre-screening is being carried out for all appointments nationwide.

Below is a detailed list which includes all of the areas within the regions that will receive a fibre installation DM. There will also be outdoor dairy posters and street posters in some of the areas where media opportunities allow.
