Today Chorus is launching its fourth EdgeCentre site at Otumoetai in Tauranga.

Chorus EdgeCentre is a cost effective and flexible colocation solution allowing you to easily scale your network. It comes with tier 2 enterprise levels of redundancy and smart management from Nlyte for real-time control of your virtual environment, assets and their performance.

This site will have a 20 rack POD offering a highly redundant environment to tier two standards with redundant power and cooling systems along with robust security. Connectivity to other Chorus products and services is available. A new UFB Handover switch capable of delivering 10Gbps and 100Gbps services is being installed in the exchange and we will be taking orders from mid-April. It makes Otumoetai a one stop shop for customers’ connectivity needs in the region.
