Automated Teller Machine (ATM)

Overview

Automated Teller Machine (ATM), is a self-service banking terminal. It allows people to perform basic banking transactions without the need for a bank teller.

Providing connectivity to ATMs can be challenging due to technology, security, and financial risks. Unmanned sites can complicate coordination with site contacts and security. For these reasons, head office authorisation and coordination with the property owner where the ATM is installed may be required. Please share any specific requirements ahead of the scheduled date.

 *NOTE: ATM connections are considered smart location connections, however, due to the complexity of connecting ATMs, this checklist, in conjunction with the smart location guidelines, should improve the ordering process
