We’re expanding our Chorus EdgeCentre Colocation product to three sites across New Zealand, and bolstering the product with an advanced Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) solution from Nlyte.
Chorus EdgeCentre Colocation is the rebranded name of Chorus Premium Colocation product piloted in 2016 from its Auckland based Mt Eden exchange. We are now making this available in Christchurch (Avonhead) and the third site in Wellington (Courtenay Place) is due to go live in June.
With the increased need for hosting high powered computing equipment and the
importance of being able to offer low latency services, Chorus EdgeCentre Colocation brings you the ideal solution if you are looking for a distributed data centre model that sits at the heart of the Chorus fibre network.
Chorus EdgeCentre Colocation will be powered by an advanced Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) from Nlyte, a market leading US based company that provides DCIM solutions globally. It will enable you to have real-time control and visibility of their assets and their virtual environment whenever you want, from wherever you want it.
We are planning to continue leveraging our property portfolio to provide Chorus EdgeCentre Colocation services nationwide over the next few years. With the potential to expand to a selection of our 600 secure exchanges, Chorus EdgeCentre Colocation provides you with true network edge capability. You’ll will be able to fulfil all your network connectivity needs in one place – colocation, handovers and transport.
