We’re launching consultation for Enterprise Connect offer

The importance of having offers and incentives aligned with you to deliver to your business objectives and to those of Chorus is vital.

We’d like to get your feedback on the proposed Enterprise Connect offer. The offer will be available from 18 February to 31 December 2019.This new initiative will help support sales of business grade fibre broadband on the Chorus UFB network.

Please note this proposal, including the indicative financial incentives identified, remains under construction internally and is still in consultation phase. The final offer Chorus choose to launch in due course may differ from this proposal.  Please note Bitstream 3/3a is currently covered by the Chorus Connect Offer which finishes on 31 December. Your feedback on the proposed Enterprise Offer will be taken into account in developing and finalising any future 2018 offers.

 

Further conditions of the offer

  • Retail service providers can sign from customer update until 17 February 2019
  • Offer available in Chorus UFB coverage areas
  • An eligible connection is one for which an order is received from 18 Feb to 31 until Dec 2019 and service is given before 30 June 2020.
  • To continue to qualify for the credit contribution a connection must remain on the relevant plan for a minimum of 12 months. This also applies to Enhanced Bistream 4 trial connections following the conclusion of the commercial trial   
  • If a retail service provider receiving a credit contribution relinquishes the service covered by the credit contribution within the 12 month qualifying period the Service provider will be subject to a repayment obligation on a pro rata basis.

What’s excluded?

  • Any orders placed on Smart Location addresses
  • Gigatown plans
  • Secondary plans
  • Education plans
  • Inactive ONT less than 30 days
  • Downgrades from higher equivalent GPON fibre services
  • HSNS Premium and Bitstream 4 plans.

Next steps

We’ll consult and get feedback from now until 22 November 2018. We’ll publish an update on the proposed offer on 2 December 2018 and we aim to have a confirmed offer on 4 February 2019.
