Last month we announced a stop-sell on copper services in Specified Fibre Areas, UBA/EUBA (ADSL/VDSL) and HSNS Lite Copper effective from 1 January 2023. 

We have received feedback from our customers and partners that this implementation timeframe is too short, and that more time is needed to plan and execute the change, including planning for key exception scenarios. 

In response to this feedback, we have elected to delay our broader stop-sell and will be in touch early in the new year with revised timeframes. In the meantime, we continue to strongly encourage the adoption of fibre where available as we move towards a brighter digital future for Aotearoa.
