Tech Mate is now live, fibre testing application coming soon

From today our Technicians will be able to see the real time state of the NGA service after it’s been provisioned, or if there’s a fault.

What's happening?

Tech Mate is a web-based app that allows the Technicians to see the real time state of the NGA service after it’s been provisioned, or if there’s a fault; so they can confirm it’s working once they’ve done the job.

The launch of Tech Mate also means that we’re a step closer to delivering the Fibre Testing Application tool for you to use.

What's the detail?

Over the next month we will be implementing the roll-out of Tech Mate to our Technicians in the field.

We’ll also refocus our development efforts on delivering the pilot for the new Fibre Testing Application that’s currently in prototype. Once it’s launched it will provide you with visibility of the test records that are created by our Technicians (using Tech Mate) when providing or fixing fibre.

These records will confirm the state of the NGA service and can be referenced during any future fault events. The application will also provide you with the real-time status of your customer’s fibre service that your teams will be able to use as part of fault diagnostics.
