As of 1 July 2019, to align with market pricing, we have reduced the pricing for vDFAS in Local Fibre Company (LFC) areas. 

What’s happening
 

In March 2015, Chorus agreed with the industry to reduce vDFAS pricing in non–Chorus LFC areas by $15 each year up until 1 July 2019.

Aligned with this agreement, we are reducing our voluntary DFAS product pricing in the LFC areas to match that of Northpower, Ultra-Fast Fibre and Enable as of 1 July 2019. 

What’s the details

As of 1 July 2019, monthly rental pricing for vDFAS in LFC areas have changed from $265 to $250, and installation charges have been reduced from $530 to $500.

Monthly rental and Installation charges outside of LFC areas will continue to be aligned to the DFAS installation charges in Chorus Reference Offer, where there is existing Chorus fibre. Service levels will also be aligned to the DFAS service levels in Chorus Reference Offer, where there is existing Chorus fibre.

vDFAS is only offered by Chorus in the LFC areas.
