From 13 April 2015 the pricing for vDFAS will be aligned to market pricing and some legacy copper services reduced. Both changes apply in non-Chorus LFC areas.

What's happening?

To be more competitive in Northpower, Ultra-Fast Fibre and Enable LFC areas, from 13 April 2015 we are aligning the price of vDFAS to market pricing where we have existing fibre.  We are also reducing the price of some legacy copper data services in the same areas.

What's the detail?

From the 13 April monthly rental pricing for vDFAS in non-Chorus LFC areas will changes from $355.00 to $325.00.  This price will then reduce each year from 1 July 2016 by $15.00 per year.

Installation charges will be aligned to the DFAS installation charges in Chorus Reference Offer, where there is existing Chorus fibre. Service levels will also be aligned to the DFAS service levels in Chorus Reference Offer, where there is existing Chorus fibre.

From 13 April 2015 the HSNS Lite (Copper), Time Division Multiplexing (TDM), UPC, UPC lite and Copper Legacy Data Bitstream Service (LDBS) monthly rental pricing will reduce to $125 per month from a range of prices. The price reduction applies in the non-Chorus LFC areas only.
