Our new public website goes live tomorrow

Our public website has had a makeover and goes live between 7:30 and 8:00 am, 3 March 2015.

What's happening?

We have redesigned our public website (www.chorus.co.nz) to deliver an enhanced experience for end users including:

  • responsive design so it works on mobile devices
  • an address search bar for the map at the top of each page
  • improved usability of our broadband capability map
  • clearer content structure and navigation
  • a modern look and feel and a less technical tone of voice

What's the detail?

While most of the content remains the same we have included new information about the fibre rollout, our wiring standards and our better broadband experience and used less technical jargon throughout.

We have updated the maps, showing where you offer UFB services, to work in the responsive environment (mobile devices). Please email us if you want to update any of this information.

You can now enter an address, to check broadband capability, from anywhere on the website and you will notice that we have turned off the shapefiles allowing an easier display of the information. Just select what service you want to highlight in the panel next to the map. The map is now more compact and provides links through to useful information for users.

If you have bookmarked any of our web pages, we’ve migrated the URLs to the new site so they should still work. Please email us if you can't find any of your favourite pages.

We do not expect any disruption to accessing the secure customer site. However, if you can't click on the login button from the homepage, please go directly to https://customer.chorus.co.nz.
