New improvements to the Service Provider website
Today we’ve launched improvements to the Service Provider website.
We heard you – ‘too many clicks’, ‘too much scrolling’, ‘site hard to navigate’ – so we’ve undertaken a major upgrade of the site navigation and structure to help you get to the information you need more quickly and easily.
These insights were gathered last year during a discovery exercise that we undertook to identify key areas of improvement for the website. This included website data analysis, as well as interviews, surveys and prototype user-testing with our RSP community. A big thank you to everyone who contributed feedback and participated in the user-testing.
New features and functionality to look out for:
- The Service Provider homepage – a slimmed down homepage with quick access to our latest updates and a new ‘top tasks’ bar to enable direct pathways to the most popular pages. As part of our next phase of development the 'top tasks' bar will be customisable via your account subscription so you can tailor it to suit your needs – watch this space!
- Site navigation – we’ve introduced new global navigation allowing better pathways through our site with ‘Updates & reports’ and ‘Industry engagement’ now easily discoverable alongside the popular 'Products and services' and 'Tools and processes'. Our new navigation panel structures enable you to drill down to specific topics with fewer clicks and less scrolling.
- Site search – the new search results page has been updated with a new page layout, clearer labelling and improved filtering with more improvements to the search algorithm being phased in over the next month. The 'Updates' page has improved filtering and search options, including a new date picker by month/year so you can find relevant updates and access archived updates.
- Pricing - we have a new pricing section where you can quickly find and open pricing for all our products without having to navigate through to each product page.
- Industry engagement – this is a new section on the site which brings together information that we had on the site but wasn’t easy to find. Here you’ll find the latest product and technology change roadmaps, as well as information on major change initiatives and launches.
What’s next?
These enhancements are just the start of our programme of improvements to our Service Provider site, with work already underway on new consultation and product roadmap pages which we hope to share for user testing soon.
