Launching our new Better Broadband Offer

Over the past six months our Broadband Upgrade Offer has helped you upgrade new and existing customers to fibre or VDSL. As this offer expires on 30 September 2017, we’re launching a new offer.

We’re supporting you through a more targeted approach. We want to help you acquire new customers to add to your base, or upgrade targeted customers. We’ve developed two prospect lists, who we believe will benefit most from better broadband. We’d like to work with you to target these customers.

What’s changing

Our new Better Broadband Offer lists two groups. Firstly, customers who are not currently on our network. Secondly, customers that may require more encouragement to migrate.

Key elements of our new offer:

  • For addresses not currently on our network – you’ll receive $200 for every qualifying connection. This includes fibre (Bitstream 2 100/20 or better), Basic VDSL, Boost VDSL and ADSL (if it’s the only Chorus service available).
  • For addresses that may require more encouragement to upgrade – you’ll receive $150 for every qualifying fibre connection and $100 for every qualifying Basic VDSL/Boost VDSL connection.
  • We’ll waive key transaction fees when you migrate an address on the targeted upgrade list from ADSL to VDSL (connection only). This includes upgrades, transfers and new connections.
  • To receive the credit, a connection must have service given by 30 September 2018 and remain active for a minimum of 30 days.
  • The targeted address lists will be supplied quarterly. A connection to an address on these lists only qualifies for a credit if you make the order during the quarter in which the list applies.

Our Better Broadband Offer runs from 1 October 2017 until 30 June 2018, subject to the terms of the offer letter.

Next steps

You’ll find our offer letter and methodology for creating the address lists under this page's Resources. Please contact your account manager if you’d like to take part. You'll need to sign and return the terms and conditions by 30 September 2017.
