Digital Equity POC extending to include some schools

The POC of a proposed digital equity service is underway. Feedback from the POC indicates that extending the eligibility criteria for end-users could provide Chorus and participating RSPs further insight and learning to help shape a future digital equity product.  

For this purpose, we are considering the inclusion of families of schools that have a School Equity Index Score of 490+.  

In the first instance, we will be considering what criteria could be used to determine eligibility to qualify for a low-cost digital equity offer for the families of the relevant schools.  

If Chorus identifies any new POC eligibility criteria, we will communicate the changes to RSPs.
