Delivering a better end customer experience with changes to the Network Removal Process

We have improved the process for requests to remove network equipment at a customer site.

What's happening?

We’ve improved process that will make it easy to request the permanent removal of a Chorus network element at an end users premise. 

What's the detail?

From 03 August you can place an order for us to go to your customer’s premises to permanently remove a Chorus network element.

Chorus network elements includes service leads, poles, pillars, ducts, pits, cable terminal, cables and plinth which is connected to copper or fibre.

For layer 1 products please submit a Wireline Generic Order Form / Field Services / Miscellaneous with the information of your requirements detailed in the comments field.

For layer 2 products please submit a Wireline Complex ARC form with the information of your requirements detailed in the comments field.

Network Removal is POA as pricing varies depending on the level of work required.   A quote will be provided and is valid for 30 days.  Once the quote is accepted work will commence to remove the network element.
