In addition to our core Mix it Up (MiU) incentive, Chorus currently offers an additional Bonus Credit for connecting residential copper and offnet addresses to the Chorus fibre network, from a list of fibre-capable addresses provided.

This current Bonus Credit offer ends on 31 December 2020 and we propose another Bonus Credit using the current framework between 1 February 2021 and 30 April 2021, and we are considering the following key amendments (see the full list of amendments under consideration in the presentation pack below):

• Increase the amount of the bonus credit paid from $350 to $450 on addresses on our target list which have been offnet for more than 6 months, and
• Make 30Mbps plans eligible for bonus kicker credits, and
• To manage credits paid out on organic/BAU connections, we’re asking RSPs to agree to direct marketing effort towards fibre during this period
