NGA Business Premium (aka Enhanced Bitstream 4 or EBS4) is our premium fibre product for New Zealand’s mid-to-large businesses with complex connectivity or business resiliency requirements.

We are proposing some changes to provide a more simplified and competitive NGA Business Premium product suite. 

We welcome your feedback on the following proposed changes:

• Launch of a new, simplified package of NGA Business Premium glass plans: 500Mbps; 1Gbps; 2Gbps; 4Gbps & 10Gbps – with each plan having High Traffic Class (HTC) bandwidth only. Removing Low Traffic Class bandwidth (LTC) avoids having to tag traffic. 
• Standard installation charged at 1x monthly rental for the five new NGA Business Premium glass plans. The new proposed 1x monthly rental structure will apply to the primary circuit and any diverse circuits, for businesses with business resiliency requirements.

• Simple, lower monthly recurring pricing associated with these five new NGA Business Premium plans – ie: 500Mbps, 1Gbps, 2Gbps, 4Gbps & 10Gbps.

• Proceeding with the above changes will result in the existing NGA Business Premium glass plans, with the split HTC/LTC bandwidth pricing structure, including any NGA Business Premium education plans, being grandfathered from around April 2023.
