Consultation: Help us shape New Zealand’s fibre future
We are consulting on investment plans and quality standards to inform our second price quality proposal to the Commerce Commission.
Help shape future investment in our fibre services. This consultation focuses on six key investment areas and regulated quality standards for price quality period 2 (commencing January 2025).
- Network footprint – should we push our network footprint further to small towns and communities?
- Reliability and resilience – should we sustain, relax or enhance?
- New technology – when and how should we deliver new technologies in your home?
- Promotion and uptake stimulation – what role do you think we should have in the ongoing promotion of fibre?
- Sustainability – how should we factor environmental and digital inclusion priorities into our proposal?
- Customer experience – how important is investment in systems and processes to improve customer experience?
Your input now will help us firm up investment plans through our business planning cycle in early 2023, before submitting our proposal to the Commerce Commission later in 2023. As part of that planning, we expect further consultation to help test and refine aspects of our plans.
