Chorus Portal and B2B changes to support RGW product launch - Impact Assessment
We recently informed you that we have been working towards developing (and co-developing with you) a product that can take advantage of the layer 3 capabilities of the 3rd Generation and Hyperfibre ONTs. System changes will be required to support this new feature set. We have two projects lined up for the next release of Chorus Portal and B2B enhancements.

A detailed pack (see in resources section below) is available outlining system and operational changes that we need you to be aware of. We need your help to make sure that the changes being introduced will not impact any current ordering processes for existing Chorus products.
While this pack focuses on Chorus portal and B2B changes, there will also be updates to the Assurance website and API, Line Test API and on the remote management service to configure RGW mode that we’re introducing (first as a GUI followed by an API).
What we need from you
Please complete an impact assessment as this will help us understand:
- if you can make the changes in time for an early December release
- whether these changes will impact your current ordering systems/processes / if you are unable to make these changes.
We would really appreciate if you could come back to your Service Delivery Manager by COB on 4 September 2020.
