Check Mate withdrawal notice

Early next year we will have completed delivery of all Check Mate functions, currently consumed by its users, into our new Assurance website and Assurance API. As part of our focus on simplifying the digital experience for our customers we are consolidating tools and will be withdrawing the Check Mate web app in December 2020.

This update provides 12 months’ notice of the withdrawal of the Check Mate web app.

What’s the detail

In early 2017 we worked with you to co-design then launch the Check Mate web app. Check Mate was one of our first digital web apps to market and supported your teams with informed customer conversations and trouble-shooting fibre issues, by providing real-time data to help diagnose faults.  With the launch of our new  Assurance website and  Assurance API  these core functions are now part of these new digital channels.

Chorus Check Mate web app will no longer be available from 17 December 2020. It will be supported until that date (or, if migration is completed earlier, we will support it until 20 days after the last user migrates off Check Mate).

Next Steps

If you are still using Check Mate please work with your Service Delivery Manager on a plan to move to the  Assurance website  or consuming the Assurance API.
