Following our Broadband 2020 Dialogue in April, we’ve made some further progress on the product strategy and would like to share some of our thoughts on what commercial, unbundled GPON would look like from 2020 onwards.

What's happening?

If you’re interested in considering this service post 2020 you can now find our preliminary thoughts on the practicalities of GPON unbundling on the Broadband 2020 page of our website.

What's the detail?

We’re seeking to ensure our customers understand how our network is configured and what is potentially involved. If you’re interested in this service we encourage you to provide feedback and ask questions regarding the content.

Following the feedback we’ll look to draft an unbundled GPON Service Description for further discussion. We expect this discussion and consultation will take some time to work through and want to understand the appetite of customers to engage now.
