Address Migration

Address migration is the process of transferring an intact ONT record, along with its active services, to a new location in the Chorus Portal

Overview

If an NGA order is completed against the wrong  address by a technician or the local council re-number an address, then an Address Migration may be needed.  The Address Migration process ensures that  all our systems and records display the NGA service connected at the correct address.

NGA Address Migrations can only be requested for fully completed connections that are identified as being in the wrong location in Chorus records.

To request an Address Migration, send your request to the Chorus_nga@chorus.co.nz mailbox.

Include the following:

  • ASID
  • ONT ID and serial number
  • Current address and TLC/Location ID
  • Target addresses and TLC/Location ID
  • Reason why it needs to be moved. Provide any other relevant information including photographic evidence.

When a request is received, Chorus will gather all the details we need to review and update our systems. This process can take up to 10 working days. Once completed, the changes will be reflected in Chorus Portal.
