Overview
An Address Migration may be needed when an NGA order is completed against the wrong address by a technician, or the local council re-number an address.
The Address Migration process ensures that all of our systems and records display the NGA service connected at the correct address.
NGA Address Migrations can only be requested on fully completed connections which are identified as being in the wrong location in Chorus records.
Send your Address Migration request to the Chorus_nga@chorus.co.nz mailbox.
You will need to include both current and target addresses & the ASID affected. Provide any valid notes, ONT Serial number, screen shots, old / cancelled / failed orders, or photographic evidence.
Our Address Management Team will review both the old and new locations to assess whether a migration is required. If it is, we will gather all the details we need to update our systems.
A request is sent to our Service Company to move the network records to the correct address.
Once that has been completed, we will also update records in our systems. Finally, we ask our 3rd party provider to update Chorus Portal.
