We are excited to be unveiling a new era of broadband to you.
Our new Hyperfibre product is built on the next generation of fibre technology called XGS-PON. Hyperfibre is set to dramatically increase capacity and unlocks the ability to deliver exponentially faster speeds of up to 10 Gbps over the Chorus fibre network.
Welcome to the era of Hyperfibre.
What’s happening
The first release of Hyperfibre is set to introduce speeds of 2000Mbps and 4000Mbps. The planned services will be symmetric, providing identical speeds for both download and upload.
Hyperfibre will be first made available in Queenstown, Wanaka, Wakatipu, Cromwell & Arrowtown. We are expecting to connect the first customers in February 2020.
We are giving you early visibility of our new product, plans, pricing & rollout plan to help you prepare for consuming the product.
