UCLL offer amendment

On 9 May, we invited you to sign up to our new UCLL migration offer. We’ve identified that those of you who signed up may not be able to meet the order timeframes under your UCLL migration plan.

We’d like to clarify how credits will be applied taking into account the operational limitations of our ordering system:

  • Confirmation of $150 credit payable - A UCLL migration plan identifies when each connection at an address is going to be ordered via our ordering system.  Where an order is placed at any time up to 30 September, a connection becomes eligible for a $150 credit.  Sometimes you won’t be able to meet the timeframes in your UCLL migration plan due to the operational limitations of our ordering system. As this happens for connections which you’d planned to order before 30 September, we will apply a $150 credit.
  • Waiver of transactional charge from ADSL to VDSL - The UCLL migration offer provides a credit for migrations from UCLL to either ADSL or VDSL.  You may have chosen to migrate your customers directly from UCLL to VDSL under your UCLL migration plan.  Sometimes it is challenging for us to migrate a large number of connections to VDSL while maintaining a great experience for your customers. We may ask you to migrate these connections to ADSL initially and then subsequently to VDSL.  Where we ask you to do so, we’ll:
    • apply the relevant credit once service is given on the ADSL connection; and
    • waive the transactional charges you’d otherwise pay for migrations from ADSL to VDSL (WVS Remote Transaction $7.17, section 1.10 ’Any UBA service to any other UBA service change plan’ under reference offer dated 16 December 2017).

Next steps

You don’t need to do anything to enjoy the benefits of this confirmation under the UCLL migration offer.  We’ll manage credit allocations and transactional charge waivers to make sure they are applied in accordance with the terms of the offer.
