REMINDER: Better Broadband for 2016
Informer 314: 14 January 2016
Following the success of the Better Broadband expo in 2015, we’re hosting a consumer and small business focused expo on 28 January 2016.
What's happening?
We want to update you on the fibre programme for 2016. This event will give you the opportunity to better understand the initiatives that we are working on and how they will help support your business over the next 12 months.
Specifically, we’ll be focusing on our plans for meeting the increasing demand for consumer and small business broadband and improving the fibre installation experience.
What's the detail?
The demand for fibre and high speed services is continuing to accelerate. We know that delivering a seamless customer experience is critical to happy customers and driving fibre uptake, so we’re developing initiatives to significantly improve the end-to-end fibre installation experience.
Up to now we’ve talked to you about individual initiatives. Better Broadband 2016 will walk you through the complete strategy for our consumer and small business fibre programme, with a key focus on the fibre installation experience.
UPDATE: this session will include information on the following:
- Consumer and small business broadband strategy for 2016
- Plans for how we’re going to meet demand through recruitment, efficiency and quality
- The outcome of the Fibre Customer Experience (FibreCX) workshops and the experience we believe we should be aiming for as an industry
- Launch of a new install support offer for consumer and small business that provides an alternative option to managing your customer’s fibre install:
- Timeline for introduction
- Detailed processes
- Programme of enhancements, including an Order Tracker app that will allow end-customers to track the status of their fibre order
- Demonstration of the Order Tracker app and Fibre Test Tools - Update on B2B and systems
- Our Fibre Experience Research to understand what really matters to end-customers
- How we are thinking about copper services as fibre uptake continues to accelerate and coverage increases.
There will be limited spaces at the Fibre Experience Lab, so please make sure that you register your interest.
