Notification of Consultation for technology change – software and hardware on our UFB OLTs and ONTs

We are providing notice under the UFB Services Agreement that we wish to consult with you in relation to the upgrade of some of our hardware and most of the software that make up the Chorus UFB network.

What's the detail?

We gave notice under the UFB Services Agreement regarding our proposal to consult on the above technology changes, including an upgrade roadmap, at the product forum on 6 November 2014. The formal notice was also sent to the named persons in the UFB Service Agreements. Chorus also wishes to notify customers who have not received that notice or were not at the product forum of this consultation.

We will consult for 90 days from the date of that notice until the 4th February 2015 and ask that RSPs provide feedback directly or at the product forum. We will then announce the outcome of this consultation.
