New Commercial UBR Backhaul options
We want to support you in delivering an even better experience to your customers by providing more bandwidth options to meet their online demands.
What's happening?
We’re introducing new UBR Backhaul options of 300kbps, 325kbps and 350kbps, 375kbps and 400kbps, to give you higher throughput choices to help meet your customers increasing demand for more bandwidth.
This is available for Basic UBA services delivered over Ethernet and ATM handovers and will be applied as an aggregate policy at your handover point.
What's the detail?
The baseline throughput remains at an aggregated average of 75kbps per end customer.
The new 300kbps, 325Kbps, 350Kbps, 375Kbps and 400Kbps UBR Backhaul options will be calculated as follows:
300Kpbs x number of current connections + 5% growth allowance for new connections during anyiven month = xMbps.
These new options are in addition to the existing options (100kbps through to 275kbps). All options can be selected on a per handover basis.
