Sep 1: Our proposed Install Support price for 2017

Sep 1: We've got pre-fibred premises all scheduled

We’ve completed our UFB roll-out plans till Christmas 2017. Included in the plans, are pre-fibred premises with no connection. Read the full Informer here.

Sep 8: It's time we're a Gignation

Good news. We’re adding gig speed plans on 1 October 2016. We gave you a heads up of our Gignation launch. Read the full Informer here.

Sep 8: Backhaul's top speed is improving from 10G to 100G

As data usage increases, we’ve boosted backhaul capacity to meet demand. From today you can now get up to 100G speeds, starting with Auckland to Hamilton. Read the full Informer here.

Sep 14: We're pausing copper broadband installs, if fibre's already in

We all want end customers on the best broadband available. From 14 October, we’ll let you know if a property requesting copper broadband, already has fibre installed. Read the full Informer here.

Sep 15: We're reducing HSNS Premium / vDFAS install prices at certain addresses.

Great news. We’re expanding the locations where you can connect these services at the standard price. The eligible addresses are based initially on our former blue zone, in non Chorus UFB areas. Read the full Informer here.

Sep 26: Our ONT software's getting patched

We recently found an issue on our newer ONTs, that may restrict your ability to configure services using DHCPor ARP protocols. Don't worry. We’re not aware of it impacting live customers. Regardless, we’re still implementing a fix to remove this restriction. This gives you the greatest flexibility to configure services in the future. Read the full Informer here.

Sep 27: Make changes easier, with our updated Order Tracker

From today, end customers can reschedule appointments and update their contact details in real time via Order Tracker (previously Chorus App). Read the full Informer here.
