Minor corrections to charges for one-off copper related services
In November 2019, we announced our annual changes to standard terms determination (STD) and related pricing for copper services. Those changes took effect from 16 December 2019.
Unfortunately, a small number of the charges we published as part of this annual price change process were incorrect. The affected charges are all for one-off and not recurring services. We’ve billed you for these one-off services on the basis of the incorrect prices, which means we’ve under-billed you from 16 December 2019 to date. It is important to note the errors are minor, being under $3 per charge and in some cases as minimal as 7 cents.

Next steps
We are correcting these one-off charges in our systems and the relevant price lists [published publicly], with effect from Monday 8 June 2020. This correction ensures our pricing aligns with the Commerce Commission’s approved pricing for STD and related pricing for copper services.
You don’t need to do anything. We aren’t going to backdate the correct prices for the period between 16 December 2019 and 7 June 2020.
