Informer 272: 11 August 2015

On 11 August 2015 we’re launching a new rate card for fibre services in the former Blue Zone within other LFC areas. This will replace the current POA installation process.

What's happening?

Informer 219, dated 29 October 2014, advised that we would introduce a POA process for HSNS Premium, HSNS Lite Fibre, BFAS and vDFAS installation charges in the former Chorus Blue Zone, other LFC areas. We’ve taken on-board your feedback and we’re looking to simplify the quoting process to give you more certainty when talking to your customers about the installation costs for fibre services in these areas.

What's the detail?

From 11 August 2015 when requesting a HSNS Premium, HSNS Lite Fibre, BFAS or vDFAS fibre service in a former Chorus Blue Zone, other LFC area one of the rate card prices below will be provided. POA pricing will remain for all non LFC areas.

We will continue to offer the current POA prices until 12 October 2015 for HSNS Premium and HSNS Lite Fibre and until 04 November 2015 for BFAS and vDFAS. Please note your preference for a POA installation price in the comments field of the feasibility request.

*The current discounts for two and three year term contracts will continue to apply, $675 discount for 2 years and $1,325 for three years.

Below is the scope of each of the installation types:

*If in-boundary trenching (IBT) is required, its cost (to cover for trenching between the boundary and the ETP) is additional and a quote will be provided upon request – no change.

The relevant online calculators, collateral, and a summary of the HSNS Premium, HSNS Lite Fibre, BFAS and vDFAS installation price changes will be updated on our website by 04 November 2015.  All relevant contract will be updated in due course.
